Trusted Ohio towing company, Interstate Towing, recently answered a call for heavy machinery moving. A customer from Hubbard, OH contacted Interstate requesting a heavy machinery moving crew for help. The customer had a 160,000 lb press piece that needed to be moved.
The heavy machinery moving crew from Interstate left their headquarters near Cleveland and made their way to the customer in Hubbard. Using the I-80 W, they swiftly arrived at the heavy machinery moving location in about an hour.
The Interstate team consisted of two crew members who were the operator and rigger of the trucks. To complete the heavy machinery moving job, they brought with them an 80-ton sliding rotator and a 75-ton rotator.
Once they arrived at the location the team assessed the situation before proceeding with the heavy machinery moving. They decided the best course of action and got to work with the heavy machinery moving.
To start the job, the heavy machinery moving team vertically lifted the piece. They placed the side with 5 attachment points on the 80-ton sliding rotator side and placed the side with 4 attachment points on the 75-ton rotator side.
