The Interstate team recently helped a customer whose man lift was stuck at a brand-new housing development in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

When the customer reached out, they were given two options – winch the machine into the yard or lift it out onto the roadway. But with underground lines and a desire to save the landscape, the customer chose the option of vertical lifting.

The heavy machinery team member arrived on the scene armed with an 80-ton rotator, ready to tackle the job. After assessing the situation and the weighty trailer, the real work began. With the rig parked alongside the man lift, the team member used two half-inch bridles to wire cables of the truck with a two-part line configuration.

Then, with expert precision and strength, he carefully lifted the man lift out of its muddy hole and placed it safely onto the pavement. And would you believe it only took them 35 minutes to get the job done? Now that’s what you call a job well done! Interstate is the company to call for all your mobile crane service needs!

Heavy Machinery Rigging Customer Chooses Vertical Lifting for Recovery

Interstate Towing recently demonstrated its expertise in heavy machinery rigging. A team member assisted a customer with heavy machinery rigging when their  60-foot man lift was stuck in the dirt.

When the customer contacted them for heavy machinery rigging, the heavy machinery rigging team gave them two options: to winch the man lift into the yard or to lift it out of the yard and onto the roadway. The heavy machinery rigging customer chose the latter option due to underground lines and a desire to preserve the landscape.

The heavy machinery rigging job was located at a new housing development in Chagrin Falls, OH. Once the dispatcher received the customer’s location, she sent out a team member to get the heavy machinery rigging job done.

Upon arriving at the location, the heavy machinery rigging team member assessed the situation. The man lift weighed 30,000 pounds. To complete the task, the heavy machinery rigging crew member brought an 80-ton rotator with him. The heavy machinery rigging team member then parked the truck next to the man lift and used two half-inch bridles to wire cables of the truck with a two-part line configuration.

With the rigging secured, the heavy machinery rigging team member expertly lifted the man lift out of the hole and placed it safely on the pavement. The entire job took only 35 minutes, demonstrating the heavy machinery rigging operator’s expertise and professionalism.
